Andrew Fox holds degrees in Anthropology from the University of California at Berkeley (AB) and Museum Studies from San Francisco State University (MA), and teaches the course, Museums in the Digital Age (M S 810).
Currently, Andrew is Webmaster for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF), a position he's held full-time for the past 6 years, overseeing all the websites and online social media marketing initiatives for the de Young Museum and the Legion of Honor. He also manages all aspects of the museums' Web and new media communications programs, including the museums' Flickr photostream, Twitter feed, and Facebook updates, and the coordination of blog posts and podcasts; spearheads the museums' social media strategy; and implements new media projects, such as electronic signage installations.
